It's still a good idea to familiarize yourself with your Defibrillator, BEFORE you actually face a cardiac arrest. Once you have watched all the videos below, and possibly observed a demonstration or practiced with a demo, you should feel confident enough to be a successful rescuer. *A few more things to note:
If you do not have pediatric pads, use the adult pads. Never use pediatric pads on an adult. Batteries and pads should be replaced every 5 years, and we encourage registering your AED with Plus Trac (above video) that will keep you up to date and in compliance. The pads should be replaced after each use, and the batteries may need to be checked earlier if the AED was used.There is a battery indicator on the outside of the defibrillator that shows a green check if the batteries are good, and a red X if the batteries are low.
