Celox™ is a blood clotting agent made from Chitosan. The Gauze is impregnated with the Celox agent, and is an impressive hemostatic application when addressing an uncontrollable bleed. Celox granules are actually flakes, and when they come in contact with blood, the Celox™ granules swell, gels, and sticks together to make a gel like plug, without generating any heat.
