This very basic, yet sufficient duo was designed for public access, with the intention of stopping massive bleeding with a tourniquet and OLAES Modular Bandage. 1)SOF® Tactical Tourniquet - Wide: The SOF®TT-W Tourniquet developed by US Army Medics, features a 1.5 inch compression band, high-strength light-weight alloy components, and a buckle interface that allows for rapid routing of the tourniquet strap.
2) OLAES® Modular Bandage. The OLAES® Modular Bandage contains packing gauze in a hidden pocket, and is a phenomenal pressure bandage. Features include: wound pad, elastic wrap, 3 meters of sterile 4-ply gauze for use in applying pressure or packing a wound, and a plastic occlusive sheet should you want to cover an open chest wound. The important feature is a transparent pressure cup that focuses pressure onto the wound site, allowing hands free pressure when the bandage is wrapped.
