The Tramedic™ Massive Bleeding Sub Kit is just one part of the TRAMEDIC Response System found inside their PUBLIC ACCESS TRAUMA KITS, and can be purchased separately. This very basic subkit was designed for the public with the intention of stopping massive bleeding.
Packaged in a re-sealable bag, the kit contains just 2 itmes:
1)SOF® Tactical Tourniquet - Wide: The SOF®TT-W Tourniquet features a 1.5 inch compression band, high-strength light-weight alloy components, and a buckle interface that allows for rapid routing of the tourniquet strap.
2) OLAES® Modular Bandage. The OLAES® Modular Bandage was designed with direct input from some of the most experienced combat medics in the world, no detail has been left out.
Features:
a) an elastic wrap with built in 'Control Strips' to prevent inadvertent unraveling,
b) 3 meters of sterile 4-ply gauze z-packed inside the dressing pocket for use in applying pressure or packing a wound,
c) a non-stick plastic occlusive sheet to cover a wound, also included in the dressing pocket, and
d) a transparent pressure cup (that can double as an eye cup) focuses pressure onto the wound site, and applies hands free pressure when the bandage is wrapped.
Located inside of the Massive Bleeding Sub kit insert you will find a set of visual instructions that help guide the user in the simple application of the kit’s contents.
